This lecture-based course introduces basic concepts and principles of pathology, especially etiology, pathogenesis, and clinical manifestations of the human body’s general response to disease. Additional topics covered include specific organ system pathology of the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems. The role of both appropriate and faulty immune system dynamics in various disease states is stressed. Prerequisites:  ANAT 10101  Anatomy I,  ANAT 1L101  Anatomy I Lab, BCHM 10201  Biochemistry I, MICR 10201  Microbiology I, and PYSO 10202  Physiology I Corequisite: ANAT 10303   Anatoly III, BCHM 10302  Biochemistry II, MICR 10302  Microbiology II, and PYSO 10303  Physiology II
